There is an incredible organization that is literally exploding across the nation. It is a unapologetically faith based outdoor adventure program for boys and young men - it is Trail Life USA. So glad to be a part of it. Worth checking out @ Traillifeusa.com

Don't get alarmed, but an anonymous source told me Brett Kavanaugh once stole second base in Little League. Apparently, he's also a thief! :^)

I see time and again, progressives accuse conservatives of being fascist. It is a simple fact that Socialism, communism, progressive and fascism all come from the same ideological root. They all in one form or another, at their core, believe that people are best ruled by those educated enough to rule, because people are not capable of making their own choices. I know progressives like to claim that Hitler and Mussolini were right-wing nut jobs. Reality is, both men's ideologies had roots in the Progressive movement of the turn of the 20th century. Popular wisdom holds that Fascism and Communism are diametrical opposites. The two ideologies are so similar that they had to define themselves in opposition to each other in order to survive. At the very least, both are socialistic in origin: Mussolini was immersed in socialism by his father, and the name of Hitler's party, National Socialist German Workers' Party, speaks for itself. These regimes fostered hostility to traditional religious beliefs and morality (both men despised Christianity), “salvation by science” (as shown, for example, in the Nazi's racist eugenics movement), and state-controlled health and environmental projects (as shown in a Nazi slogan, “Nutrition is not a private matter!”). H.G. Wells, one of the most influential progressives of the 20th century said in 1932 that progressives must become “liberal fascists” and “enlightened Nazis.” Throughout the 1920’s and ’30’s elitist progressives were generally enthusiastic about socialist movements taking place in the Soviet Union and Europe, as they were for fascism in Italy. The historian Charles Beard wrote: “Beyond question, an amazing experiment is being made in Italy. An experiment in reconciling individualism and socialism.” NAACP co-founder W.E.B. DuBois saw National Socialism as a “worthy model for economic organization.” He wrote, “The establishment of the Nazi dictatorship in Germany had been absolutely necessary to get the state in order.” In 1937 he stated, “there is today, in some respects, more democracy in Germany than there has been in years.” George Bernard Shaw hailed Hitler, Stalin and Mussolini as the world’s great “progressive” leaders because they “did things”, unlike the leaders of those putrefying corpses called parliamentary democracies.”
